The Wooden Sculpture Museum is located in the village of Axos and hosts the permanent collection of the sculptor Georgios Koutantos, which consists of more than 100 handmade sculptures. The visitor can see works with traditional folk forms and themes and get acquainted in this way with the occupations and traditions of the inhabitants of Mt Psiloritis and Crete.
